Abstract
The central nervous system is frequently affected during the course of sarcoidosis. Many of these lesions remain without clinical correlates. Unenhanced and contrast enhanced CT and MRI play an important role during the diagnostic work-up of patients with sarcoidosis and suspected or proved CNS involvement. This article summarizes the most frequent manifestations of neurosarcoidosis and provides illustrative examples of MRI findings.Entities:
