Abstract
Little attention has been given to the palliative care needs of heart failure patients. Patients dying from heart disease experience a wide range of symptoms that are frequently distressing, including breathlessness, nausea and vomiting and anxiety. Nurses can draw on the literature relating to the care of cancer patients when devising strategies to care for patients with heart failure.Entities:
