Influenza activity--United States, 2000-01 season.

This report summarizes influenza activity in the United States during October 1-November 25, 2000 (1). Influenza activity was low during this period, and influenza virus isolates were reported from 11 states. The viruses most frequently isolated were influenza A (H1N1) and were well matched by the 2000-01 influenza vaccine strain.
