Abstract
Functional status in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) as assessed by the HAQ is poorer in the West of Scotland than the USA or elsewhere. There is a possible link with social deprivation, which is common within the Greater Glasgow Healthboard area. Our aim was to determine if differences in lifestyle could contribute to the poorer functional outcome found in socially deprived patients.Entities:
