Abstract
This paper describes various kinds of learning disability. It is suggested that the connection between mathematical difficulties and dyslexia has been largely overlooked by educators. Students' failure to understand how the number system works and the resultant failure to appreciate place values account for many of the mathematical difficulties experienced by dyslexic learners.Entities:
