Abstract
The pathogenesis of lymphatic filariasis has been a matter of debate for many decades. Here, Gerusa Dreyer and colleagues propose a dynamic model of bancroftian filariasis, integrating clinical, parasitological, surgical, therapeutic, ultrasonographic and histopathological data.
