Abstract
Ten flaviviruses occur in Brazil: Bussuquara, Cacipacoré, dengue 1, 2 and 4, Iguape, Ilhéus, Rocio, Saint Louis encephalitis and yellow fever. Aspects of sylvatic maintenance cycles and human diseases caused by these viruses are analyzed. Large dengue outbreaks are occurring in Brazil and there is a risk of yellow fever urbanization.Entities:
