Abstract
Two critical assumptions are made when prescribing antipyretic therapy. One is that fever is, at least in part, noxious, and the other is that suppression of fever will reduce, if not eliminate, the noxious effects of fever. At present, neither assumption has been validated experimentally.Entities:
