Abstract
It seems well established that a modern approach to the treatment of head and neck cancer should involve a multidisciplinary team. However the "cost" of providing such a service in the United Kingdom has not as yet been investigated. We present the results of a detailed, prospective audit which has identified and quantified the "cost" of input from all members of the team involved in the in-patient care of these patients. We also discuss some of the resourcing issues, which arise from this work.Entities:
