Abstract
Steam distilled essential oil from aerial parts of Scutellaria albida ssp. albida was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Fifteen compounds were identified of which linalool (52.63%) and trans-nerolidol (9.03%) were the major constituents. Furthermore, the oil was tested against four bacteria and two yeasts and was found to be moderately active against all microorganisms tested.Entities:
