Abstract
We study a population of identical Rössler oscillators with global coupling. When the coupling constant is increased, an order-disorder-type phase transition occurs. Partial phase synchronization occurs in the ordered phase, although the amplitude of the oscillation is randomly distributed. We analyze the phase transition with a self-consistent method.Mesh:
