Abstract
1. Eleven European centers have performed 228 living donor liver transplants (LDLT): 105 in children and 123 in adults. 2. Right lobe donation was used in 111 of 123 adult cases (90%). 3. There was 1 donor death ( approximately 0.8%), and 17.8% of donors experienced significant complications. 4. Eighty-six percent of recipients and 83% of grafts survived.
