Abstract
Isoprene is the main component of steroid hormones. It is found in many plants and herbal compounds, e.g. the isoflavonoids are therefore slightly estrogenic. Since they are bound to the estradiol receptors, more active estrogens cannot induce a signal transduction. Hence phytoestrogens may be protective on breast tissue and other hormone dependent organs.Entities:
