Abstract
Nitrous oxide in a concentration of 35% has been shown to ameliorate the pain of acute myocardial infarction. This conclusion was reached on the basis of a double-blind study in 69 patients and a clinical study in an additional 42 patients. The use of nitrous oxide was not accompanied by hemodynamic changes or significant adverse reactions.Entities:
