Abstract
We describe a case of facial paralysis in a 19-month-old male recently diagnosed with acute otitis media. Results of his physical examination was remarkable for left-sided peripheral facial nerve palsy with an associated middle ear infection. Physicians should understand the etiology, pathophysiology, treatment options, and prognosis of facial palsy in association with otitis media.Entities:
