Abstract
Synovial osteochondomatosis is a benign, metaplastic disease of unknown etiology in which synovial tissue can differentiate into cartilage and/or bone. This cartilage and bony tissue may be attached to the synovium or may break free and become intraarticular loose bodies. The treatment of choice for this unusual condition is synovectomy, which is usually curative.Entities:
