Abstract
Picorna-like insect virus RNAs direct an unorthodox form of translation initiation at a non-AUG-related codon, without involvement of initiator tRNA. This seems to involve a special type of mRNA pseudoknot structure which allows bypassing of the usual P-site-dependent mechanism.Mesh：
