Abstract
Eight compounds were separated from the roots of Achyrathes bidentata by repeated chromatography. On the basis of physicochemical properties and spectral analysis their structures were elucidated as alpha-spinasterol (1), beta-sitosterol (2), chrysophanol (3), dibutyl phthalate (4), palmitic acid (5), alpha-spinasterol-3-O-beta-D-glucoside (6), daucosterol (7) and ecdysterone (8). Compounds 1-7 were isolated from the plant for the first time.Entities:
