Abstract
We report a case in which 2-dimensional echocardiography established the diagnosis of a left ventricular subepicardial aneurysm that was followed by rupture and sudden death before surgery. Two-dimensional echocardiography is of great help in detecting this rare complication after myocardial infarction. Urgent surgical treatment is warranted for this condition.Entities:
