Abstract
Retroperitoneal collections in the absence of pancreatitis are rare. Imaging plays an important role in determining the aetiology of these collections and in allowing percutaneous drainage to be performed safely. A review of the imaging characteristics on both CT and MRI is presented, highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of these two modalities and their complimentary roles.Entities:
