Abstract
We describe a 60-year-old woman with progressive proximal leg weakness and dystrophic changes of the quadriceps and the adductor muscles on magnetic resonance imaging. She also suffered from primary hyperparathyroidism. A biopsy of the left deltoid muscle showed vacuoles as an unusual histopathological finding.Entities:
