Abstract
Cocaine binds into beta-cyclodextrin, but not detectably into alpha- or gamma-cyclodextrin, in water solution. NMR studies indicate the geometry of the complex, which is confirmed by molecular mechanics calculations and binding studies on cocaine analogues and cyclodextrin dimers.Entities:
