Abstract
Myxoma of the mandibular condyle is extremely rare and may cause signs and symptoms like those seen in patients with temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD). The histogenesis, histologic profile, and management of myxoma of the jaws remain controversial. We report a case of myxoma involving the mandibular condyle appearing as TMD, and we review the literature to highlight current controversies surrounding this lesion.Entities:
