Abstract
The role of endoscopic ultrasound in evaluation of pancreatic diseases is evolving. This article reviews the advantages and limitations of endoscopic ultrasound when compared with other available imaging technologies in the evaluation of chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, and cystic lesions of the pancreas. New therapeutic procedures using endoscopic ultrasound in the treatment of pancreatic disease are discussed, in addition to potential future applications.Entities:
