The role and responsibility of the media in the event of a bioterrorist act.

H W Wyatt.

Abstract

The role of the media will be critical if terrorists attack the civilian population of the United States with germ or chemical warfare. Although the motivation of the group may vary, one aim of the bioterrorists will be to create panic at all levels of society. The media's response must be responsible reporting.
