Abstract
Our understanding of the complex signal transduction pathways involved in signalling within cancer cells, between cancer cells and between cancer cells and their environment has increased dramatically in recent years. Here we concentrate on three non-receptor kinases: Src, focal adhesion kinase (FAK) and phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI 3-kinase). These form part of a complex network of intracellular signals which is thought to be important in regulating cancer cells.Entities:
