Abstract
The aim of the study was to investigate, whether height is a predictor of interventions during labor in obese women. Therefore the relationship between height and interventions during labor was investigated in 661 obese women delivering a single child in vertex presentation. Diabetic mothers were excluded. As a result there was a trend towards more medical inductions in tall women, but without reaching statistical significance. No other differences were found. We conclude, that short stature is not a major predictor of interventions during labor in Danish, obese women.Entities:
