Abstract
Cysts arising from the III and IV pharyngeal pouches, although uncommon, are typical in their presentation. They occur in neonates, invariably in the left anterior neck and cause respiratory distress. Excision of the cyst with ligation of the tract at the level of the pyriform sinus is curative.Mesh:
