Abstract
Heart failure is a major cause of morbidity and mortality world wide. In the UK it is estimated to affect one in ten octogenarians. This obviously imposes a large burden on our health care services, and the ageing of our population will only exacerbate this. In this article we have attempted to provide a general overview of the day to day management of these patients in the United Kingdom.Entities:
