Ethics and neurology in the Islamic world. Continuity and change.

Abstract

The continuous developments in medicine and, consequently, in medical ethics, create new questions for Muslim physicians, medical jurists and religious authorities. This paper focuses on some aspects of Islamic medical ethics, with particular references to neuroethics, in the light of past and present Muslim literature.
