Abstract
MRI scans were compared between 71 Hispanic and 73 white non-Hispanic patients with National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke probable AD. Analysis of covariance controlled for age, sex, education, and Mini-Mental State Examination scores indicated that ventricular size was smaller in Hispanic than white non-Hispanic patients (p = 0.0003). There was no difference in cortical atrophy and T2-weighted white matter hyperintense signals between groups.Entities:
