Preliminary human trial of a new male sterilization procedure: vas sclerosing.

A new procedure developed in animals has been applied to produce male human sterilization. This involves the percutaneous injection of an ethanol and formaldehyde solution into the vasa deferentia. An initial clinical trial of eight human volunteers indicates that this is an effective method of producing male sterilization.
