Abstract
Distal radial artery aneurysms are an infrequent occurrence in adults and rare in children. The rate of aneurysm formation in adults has been reported as 0.048% following catheterization. A case report of a 5-month-old girl with a recurrent left radial artery aneurysm is presented. The etiology of the aneurysm was radial artery catheterization in the neonatal intensive care unit. Recurrence occurred after resection for an end-to-end repair. Ligation of the artery was required for ultimate treatment. No deleterious sequelae were found after the final operation.Entities:
