Abstract
Chronic subdural hematomas display a wide diversity of features in adults, often simulating other neurologic and psychiatric disease processes. This is particularly problematic in elderly patients, for whom more nonspecific clinical presentations are common. Recognition of these features is the key to early diagnosis in elderly patients, who exhibit a markedly increased incidence of this disease. Prompt diagnosis prevents delays that may lead to increased morbidity in these patients.Entities:
