Abstract
Multi-disciplinary public health audit involving whole departments is often perceived as difficult to carry out in areas other than the annual report of the Director of Public Health. This paper describes the audit of an emergency telephone helpline set up during a meningococcal disease outbreak and provides standards that could be applied to any emergency helpline set up in response to issues of public health concern.Entities:
