Abstract
A sentinel group of primary-care physicians in Wales actively reported cases of acute bloody diarrhea from February 1997 through December 1998. The estimated annual rate was 18 cases per 100,000 population. Most (80%) cases were due to Campylobacter or Salmonella; however, 18% were undiagnosed.Entities:
