Abstract
The dichloromethane-methanol extract from the fresh leaves of Trixis vauthieri DC (Asteraceae) afforded trixol, a new cyclohexadecane derivative. The structural elucidation of this new compound, with a novel skeleton, was based on NMR studies of the natural product nd its derivatives.Entities:
