Abstract

The RelA (p65) subunit of transcription factor NF-kappaB plays a critical role in development, and rela(-/-) knockout mice die in utero from massive liver apoptosis. Only partial sequences of the mouse Rela gene are available. We have determined the genomic structure of mouse Rela and promoter, and have mapped the gene to chromosome 19B1-3. Copyright 2000 S.
