Abstract
The obstructive sleep apnea syndrome is a common cause of morbidity in childhood. The clinical presentation, pathophysiology, polysomnographic characteristics and treatment differ between children and adults. Measurements of the upper airway pressure-flow characteristics can be useful in evaluating upper airway function in patients with OSAS as well as the normal population.Entities:
