Abstract
Interference screws are frequently used for fixation of anterior cruciate ligament grafts. When revision surgery is necessary, it is important for the surgeon to recognize variations in interference screw morphology to reduce the potential difficulties in screw removal. The purpose of this observational study is to review the variety of metallic and nonmetallic absorbable interference screws commonly available and to provide a review of their characteristics, dimensions available, and the type and size of screwdriver that would be required in the event that removal is necessary.Mesh:
