Abstract
Though quite unusual, vascular insufficiency of the arm can occur after ligation of the subclavian artery. We describe the ischemic consequences of left subclavian interruption in a neonate after subclavian flap angioplasty repair (Waldhausen procedure) for coarctation. Subsequent carotid-subclavian artery bypass was successful in relieving symptoms.Entities:
