Abstract
A 14-year-old male presented with a several month history of an asymptomatic right cervical swelling. An ultrasound scan showed a solid lesion superficial and superior to the thyroid gland. Surgical excision of the lesion was carried out and histological examination revealed a neurilemmoma. Neurilemmomas are relatively rare tumours and even rarer in children. The incidence of such tumours and the management of our patient are discussed.Entities:
