Abstract
We report the case of a patient with a metastatic tumor in the right ventricle, apparently derived from a transitional cell carcinoma. The patient presented with severe hypoxemia as a result of right-to-left shunt due to the position of the tumor and a patent foramen ovale. The clinical course of this case is presented and the pathophysiology of the physiological effects caused by the metastatic tumor is discussed. The literature concerning cardiac metastases is reviewed.Entities:
