Abstract
Percutaneous fixation of calcaneal fractures has limited indications. It is most useful for tongue-type fractures in which the displaced portion of posterior facet remains intact to the tuberosity. This allows the tuberosity to be used as a reduction tool for the posterior facet. The technique has been used successfully in 41 patients. In the current study, the indications and technique are reviewed in detail.Entities:
