Abstract
A new technique is described for treating a large cystic degeneration after regression of an intra-abdominal desmoid tumors in patients with familial adenomatous polyposis. A cysto-peritoneal shunt is made for the relief of large cystic degeneration by creating a channel between the mesenteric cyst and the peritoneal cavity by means of a silicone tube to facilitate transperitoneal drainage.Entities:
