Abstract
The major classes of RNA (rRNA, mRNA, tRNA) start to be synthesized simultaneously in the zoospore of Allomyces soon after the onset of germination. Especially during cyst formation and germ tube emergence, the synthesis of mRNA and tRNA is prominent whereas that of rRNA proceeds slowly. The transcription products of these early stages are needed for the subsequent initiation of hypha formation.Entities:
