Abstract
Patients with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) often refrain from physical exercise for fear of precipitating a life-threatening arrhythmia or receiving an ICD shock. However, most of these patients are able to safely exercise if they are provided appropriate clinical guidelines. This review describes the factors that enter into the development of an exercise program for patients with an ICD.Entities:
