Abstract
Surgical repair of large umbilical hernias may present a challenging surgical problem. The currently described surgical techniques often yield disappointing results. The authors describe a new technique that allows for the repair of the fascial defect and the creation, with the use of a square cutaneous flap, of a neoumbilicus with sufficient depth and a good cosmetic appearance.Entities:
