Abstract
Viral folliculitis is an infrequently reported entity. We describe two patients with viral folliculitides, including a case of herpetic sycosis caused by herpes simplex (HSV) and a case of herpes zoster (HZ) without blisters. Clinicians should consider viral etiologies in the differential diagnosis of superficial infectious folliculitis, especially those cases refractory to antibacterial or antifungal therapy.Entities:
