Two new species of the genus Sterigmatomyces.

L Rodrigues de Miranda.

Abstract

The descriptions of two new species of the genus Sterigmatomyces, St. nectairii and St. penicillatus are given. The diagnosis of the genus is extended to starch production, positive or absent. An earlier described species, St. acheniorum Buhagiar et Barnett, is transferred to the genus Rhodotorula.
